Current shows include the popular Heritage Antique Market at Bayview Village Shopping Centre plus a new monthly Antique Market at Cloverdale Mall. History: Started in 1976 by Paul Zammit, Heritage Antique Shows has run antique shows throughout the Greater Toronto Area including: 1970’s Antiques at Fairview Mall (A Journey into the Past) Scarborough Town Centre Cloverdale Mall Cumberland Terrace Bramalea City Centre 1980’s Toronto Convention Centre Bridlewood Mall Agincourt Mall Oshawa Centre Parkway Mall Don Mills Centre Shoppers World - Brampton Shoppers World - Danforth Albion Mall Oakville Place Burlington Mall Upper Canada Mall - Newmarket Sheppard Centre Bayfield Mall - Barrie Weekly Antique Show at St. Lawrence Market (1988-1990) 1990’s Square One Shopping Centre The Promenade Mall Thornhill Square Carlingwood Mall- Ottawa The O’Keefe Centre (Waltzing Through Time) Holiday Inn on King (Toronto’s Premier Antique Show) 2000 Bayview Village - (Heritage Antique Market) - (1979 - present) Toronto BookFair - (1989 - present) Cloverdale Mall - (Heritage Monthly Antique Market) - (2007 - present) Today: Heritage Antique Shows has concentrated on single day shows - where dealers set up early in the morning and pack up at the end of the day. This year Heritage will have 16 single day shows (6 at Bayview Village , 8 at Cloverdale Mall, 2 at Toronto Bookfair) , but will increase this to 19 shows in 2008 (adding 3 more dates to Cloverdale Mall). Heritage Antique Shows in still owned and operated by Paul Zammit and his son, David Zammit who continues the tradition well into the 21st Century.
